Aloha! I was born and raised in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Yes, I am an outer island country girl, and I was blessed with growing up in a Christian home. I made my personal commitment to serve God at the age of 12 at a youth camp. I met my husband in 1987 and we were married in 1988. God took two prodigal people and did a miracle work in us.

As our family grew, God called us to serve in full time ministry about 7 years later. God moved us to Oregon in 2010 for a season of healing and then called us back into full time ministry in 2012. God then called us back to Hawaii in 2018 to serve at One Love and opened up a space for me to serve as my husband’s admin. We have been married for 30+ years and I am humbled by recalling the many stories in our life where God came to our rescue and provided for us.

We have experienced many miracles in our own marriage as God has graciously held us together with His guidance and wisdom. Derek and I treasure all these memories of God’s goodness to us. Through all of this, we are a family who moves when God moves us…and we stay until God says move. We are grateful for our One Love ohana and are honored to serve His church here. We have 5 children, 2 additional children because they chose to marry into our crazy and fun-loving family, and 7 grandchildren.
