About One Love Ministries:

Purpose:

One Love’s Information Technology (IT) Director is responsible for the optimization, security, and ongoing maintenance required for the smooth operations of technology systems within One Love Ministries. This includes but is not limited to, providing hands-on support of the IT infrastructure, including email, networking, security systems, phone systems, giving kiosks, children’s center check-in systems, thermostat regulation, and various building projects requiring IT support. A job well done ensures staff can work effectively and securely while minimizing their time spent on IT-related issues and that visitors can easily interact with IT-related systems and software.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Optimization of all IT related systems within the ministry
  • Security and backup of electronic systems and information company-wide
  • Oversight of IT operational budget including building projects
  • File Management on cloud storage and local drives

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support and oversight of the IT infrastructure, provisioning, planning, installation and operations within the ministry.
    • Employee-specific – Ensure software, firmware, and hardware are up-to-date and/or optimized to increase productivity with staff members and minimize IT-related issues, as well as provide training where needed.
    • In-house congregation – Manage the systems necessary for guests to easily interact with IT related systems such as the giving kiosk (EZ Tithe), children’s check-in (Planning Center), the café payment technology (Square), and guest wireless network.
    • Online congregation – Maintain streaming service hardware, software, and training necessary for sharing celebrations online and with satellite campuses.
  • Evaluate software vendors and solutions and develop annual operation budget ensuring all licenses and subscriptions are up-to-date, utilized and cost-effective.
  • Research and plan for technology implementation updates company-wide — ensuring updates will be compatible with software, hardware and network-related systems.
  • Manage security systems to mitigate security issues: 1) on property, such as security doors and camera hardware and software [Qsee]) and 2) virtually, through software updates and firewall protection.
  • Research, budget, implement and manage vendors on IT-related aspects of ministry building projects.
  • Regularly monitor backup systems, software, servers and networking speeds to ensure systems are optimized.
  • Manage and maintain all phone system (Voiceover IP), making changes to directory extensions when necessary.
  • Maintain all passwords/licenses company-wide. Utilize best practices for password security/access/distribution.
  • Maintain all emails that is related to One Love Ministries.

Hardware knowledge necessary includes:

Personal computers, Mac and Windows, iPhones, iPads, routers, switches, firewalls, cabling, printers, wireless equipment, VoIP phones, and security equipment related to programming or internet operation. See also media-related hardware.

Software knowledge necessary includes:

Experience with Mac OSX, Windows 7- Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Google Docks, understanding of cloud back up and
storage.

Description Details:

One Love currently consists of approximately 20 full and part-time employees. Building projects vary in size and complexity throughout the year.

The complication of contracting IT

  • IT-related issues are often immediate; stop everything and determine a fix so the team can always be operational.
  • IT systems are personal solutions to information technology and often take other parties a considerable amount of time to get up-to-speed.

  • Convert giving Kiosks from EZTithe to the Church App at One Love and implement also at Windward campus.

  • Building infrastructure as we grow as a church and not be behind in the growth
