Matt was a formal prodigal son raised in Nebraska, where he spent the first 18 years of his life. After high school, Matt moved to Colorado to attend Art College and lived in Denver for 20 years. While Matt’s career was on the rise, his personal life eventually spiraled out of control. Soon after that, Matt was saved on the mission field in Thailand after the Holy Spirit woke him up to his need for a Savior, and his life has never been the same!

Matt met his lovely wife, a traveling nurse from Connecticut, in 2002. They moved to Oahu in 2008, where they had their first son, Finley. Since then, God has done significant work in their lives and blessed Matt and Andrea with five beautiful, highly-creative children.

Matt utilizes his God-given abilities to be the husband, father, and faithful son He has called him to be. In addition, matt supports the marketing and communication efforts for events and ministries at One Love Kaka’ako, Windward, and the Waikiki Beach Chaplaincy.

Matt loves the story of the Prodigal Son, Isaiah 61, and Isaiah 52:7, which reads: “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings Good News of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns.’”
