Aloha! I’m Evan and I have the pleasure of serving One Love Ministries as the Media Tech/Sound Engineer. Although my true love and connection with the Lord started in serving in worship back in high school. I started coming to One Love when I was 5 years old back when we were meeting at the Manoa location.

Growing up in the church I’ve been involved in many ministires over the years, most recently being Media and Music. In 2018 my family moved on from One Love to explore other churches where I ended up settling at North Shore Christian Fellowship. There I met my wife, Bela and we have 2 young children. We had known each other since middle school from seeing each other at various Calvary Chapel events and serving together in worship. For about 4 years we served together in worship at various churches on the north shore, and attending NSCF, before getting the call to return to One Love. Since then we have been learning to navigate this new season together with God.

In my free time I love to do a bit of gaming, take my family to the beach, or just stay in and play music together. I primarily play bass but if needed I can also play guitar and some cajon/drums. You probably won’t see me around as I’m usually hiding in the sound booth or running around working on something. That being said feel free to stop me and say hi! I love to meet new people and get to know everyone in the church now that I’m back!
