Shawn was born in Bozeman, Montana, and grew up in a Dutch farming community. She was brought up in the church but didn’t come to know Jesus until she “fell in love with Him” at the age of 25. Her life was never the same as His Love began the transforming process, igniting her love for His Word, sharing Him with others, and walking out her faith. After marriage and three children, Shawn became a Registered Nurse and found her first ministry-work role in faith-based pregnancy centers. She quickly learned she loved to teach, encourage, and counsel. After many twists and turns, God called her to full-time ministry work outside of nursing and inside the church. God used One Love Ministries to call her to the position of Women’s Ministry Director. Shawn is abundantly grateful to use her gifts of encouragement, evangelism, teaching, and counseling while ministering to the women of One Love.
